Pierre Michea
Innovation funding
After joining the consulting team of Patrick DRAHI (CEO ALTICE Group), Pierre MICHEA created his own finance boutique 7Th Degree. Over the years, he specialized in financing the technical industries in the Movie and TV industries. He thus collaborates with leading companies in digital cinema projection, in particular DOREMI TECHNOLOGIES, world leader in servers for commercial cinemas.
In 2011, DOREMI became shareholders of the company 7TH DEGREE CONSULTING. With the takeover of DOREMI by DOLBY CINEMA (worldwide leader in digital industry), 7th strengthens its presence in the sector and positions itself as a small investment bank intervening in the financing aspects of innovation, corporate finance and private equity (I don’t know what it is) for players in digital technologies. Each year, 7th raises 12 million euros for its clients and enables M&A operations. 7th degree collaborates with a dozen expert advisers.
Elected as secretary general of the 3D Alliance consortium, Pierre Michea federates and animates European companies in the 3D sound and image Industry, by introducing them to local partners in Asia, India, Brazil and North America .
Since 2019, Pierre MICHEA has been on the board of directors of several investment funds based in Luxembourg – Family Offices, but also alternative investments funds in media and technology sectors.
Bernard Mendiburu
VR and VFX expert
Bernard Mendiburu is a VR and VFX expert working and living between Paris and Los Angeles. He’s credited for 3D visual effects on Disney, Dreamworks, and Fox shows. He initiated the StarVR HMD project while at Volfoni 3D Cinema, then spearheaded the first IMAX VR Center in Los Angeles, and eventually worked with Varjo on their eye-resolution HMD. He is a published author on visual effects and award-winning Stereographer. He collaborated on three Lumiere Award winning projects (Volfo- ni, HERO, Varjo XR1). He presented at the most prestigious conferences (SMPTE, NAB, IBC, MIPI, KBC…)
Pascal Fite

Pascal Fite is a venture capitalist and start-up advisor.
Pascal graduated from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (PARIS VI) with a Master of Electronics degree. He also holds an MBA from Sciences Po Paris and a Master of Finance from HEC Paris.
Pascal Fite specializes in start-up business performance management and business consulting. As a venture capitalist, he conducted several minority investment deals on behalf of two private equity firms (IDF CAPITAL and Sigma Gestion). The deals were primarily in the media and internet sector and included minority investments in LeKiosk, Brand Online Commerce, Qobuz and Smallable. He previously held operating positions in telecoms and media (Ericsson, TDF and Orange) as a Telecom Engineer or Project Manager.

A graduate of Sciences Po and ESSEC, Octave is co-founder and CEO of Melusyn. His background is in business and media and he is passionate about the film &TV industry. Octave Bory has worked for major IT and telecom companies designing and selling B2B and B2C software. He is actively involved in several associations promoting entrepreneurship in Europe.
Melusyn is the solution for organizing and monetizing pre-production data in the entertainment industry. Melusyn Web and mobile apps facilitate and speed up planning, organization and information sharing during pre-production. With data centralized and analyzed in real time, film and TV crews can share important documents, track progress and focus on the all-important decisions.
Mathieu Vetter

Having spent three years as part-time CFO (7th Degree), Mathieu has more than 10 years’ experience in corporate finance as CFO in post-production companies. His financial expertise includes financial reporting, KPIs, cash flow, debt management, financial strategies, budgets and business plans.
Fabien Gattault
Corporate finance
Backed by deep corporate finance knowledge and expertise, Fabien Gattault is a specialist in SME business performance and strategy management. He graduated from Reims Business School (France) in Markets & Corporate Finance.
Fabien started his career as an Auditor in Ernst & Young, one of the Big 4 accounting firms, with a special focus on the media and communications sector.
His current challenge, as CFO and now as Deputy CEO, is VOLFONI 3D, a global 3D company that has scooped many awards for its technology. With a global presence in both the cinema and virtual reality markets, VOLFONI 3D is active across the entire industry chain, from R&D to production.
Samuel Cozannet

Samuel Cozannet is a technology enthusiast. He is a solution-oriented get-things-done professional with a track record in product and program management. Samuel has a passion for innovation and believes technology can make the world a better place. Acting on his convictions, he played an active role in digitizing the film industry in the late 00’s. He now spends most of his time and energy driving the adoption of IoT and Big Data technologies by companies and businesses of all sizes and in all sectors.
Samuel Cozannet has an Engineering degree from the École Polytechnique (majoring in economics and physics).
He holds a Master’s in Management of Innovation (1st in his class) from the École des Mines de Paris/École des Ponts et Chaussées.
François Helt
IT Expert | Start-up Mentor
François Helt has a background in mathematics and film-making, with 35 years’ experience in professional video and film.
He has been involved in designing image processing software since 1981 and has held roles as manager of R&D for special effects software, including film scanners and film printer drivers since 1991.From 1994 to 1997, François was Technical Manager of the European “Limelight” project, aimed at designing a complete digital film restoration system. He founded DUST in 1997, a company specializing in digital restoration and processing of film and was CEO until 2002
François is the author of four patents.
He participated in a number of European projects, including PrestoPRIME, Cin’express and Durafile, and in the French collaborative projects (FUI) 4ever and 4ever2.
